Are you a Comfortable or Confident person?

It’s a choice at the end of the day, it’s a state of mind and may even be a place in life where it finds you at any one given time. Have you ever found yourself being told not to do something but this inadvertently finds you doing it. It is a well know fact that Airline Pilots notice when they are told not to hit a specific object or avoid something, they will hit the obstacle because they are focusing in on it specifically and find themselves comfortable at that moment. If we are comfortable we settle for what it is but if we are confident we will seek out every eventuality, scan areas of danger, be strategic with motions and plan the rocky road ahead till we reach the end we worked and seeked so much for.

Being confident will empower and give you confidence to face whatever comes your way. Our staff and residents at SRCC are a perfect example of such and exhibit this throughout each day. Confidence is a power which we all have within us, sometimes we just need to exercise, unleash it and trust ourselves. Perhaps for the week ahead it might be time well spent working on or possibly being observant of this and exercising it throughout the days ahead.

On any one given 24 hour day, remember that everyone is trying their level best to achieve and be the very best they can be. Under possibly the most stressful times over the past few months with extreme weather conditions…if people succeeded or found themselves challenged in their quest to be the very best they could, I believe it to be true that everyone deserves to be applauded for their determination and efforts. Support those around you and acknowledge their great works because it would be a shame to lose sight of one’s talents through times of difficulty and learning. Trust those around you, whether team leaders, family members, friends, acquaintances or other…there is always a space within all of us to be silent and more aware of those we are surrounded by.

With our most recent spell of fine weather, we at SRCC took ourselves to the great outdoors which we have been eagerly anticipating…and why wouldn’t we ☀️…it has been absolutely amazing. Spring/Summer has begun 👏🏻. See photos attached

April showers as tradition have turned into deluges of water throughout our towns and communities and our nation as a whole. A topic of conversation for sure, whether you’re in your local supermarket, queuing for whatever reason or just generally passing others by on the street. It’s the rain, the impact it has on everyone whatever or wherever it finds you presently. It really and truly does affect everyone. This endless wet weather has everyone feeling powerless and really wanting some form of security to suggest their future going forward is really and truly secure. We don’t have any power over the weather we are dealt with but what we do have is the certainty that if we stick together…. If we work together…without doubt positive reactions will follow.
